Module 07 · 2026 catalogue

Facilitate a meeting or public debate

Set a framework, share speaking time and sustain constructive discussion.

Who is it for? Teams, associations and people who lead groups.

What we work on

Develop a facilitation stance that brings discussion to life, contains disruption, values contributions and leads the group towards a useful synthesis.

  • Set a clear framework for consultation or a meeting.
  • Define the ground rules and decision process.
  • Share, reclaim and prompt speaking time tactfully.
  • Manage changes of mood, objections and dominant personalities.

Try it in a workshop

  • “Meeting under pressure” simulation with assigned roles.
  • “The ministers” role-play: argue and persuade within a time limit.
  • Resume speaking after interruption without aggression.
How a session unfolds
  1. Prepare the framework and roles.
  2. Short simulation.
  3. Freeze-frame: analyse the facilitation stance.
  4. Focused input: rephrasing, reframing and synthesis.
  5. Another simulation with an added difficulty.

After the experience

Criteria may include clarity of the framework, fair speaking time, time management, reframing, quality of synthesis and maintaining a productive atmosphere.
